bernard gave me an excellent idea to draw my edc, and i thought i'd draw one everyday (if i can remember to). this is my first entry:


as edc may change now and then, the format and style of the drawings will, too.

"Untitled (Again)" 2010

my submission for my school's annual student juried show. the art department selects a well-off juror who selects a number of pieces from 90+ entrees and picks out awards from school donors to these selected few. i was one of the lucky ones among 90+ people to be selected. i won the howards slatoff award for this diptych. the diptych is meant to be hung in a corner like so. it turned out great (aside from the typo on the title card: "Untilled (Again)"

these were drawn as i watched Blood+ (awesome anime), so these were basically inspired as i watched and listened.

Tell Me What To Draw (TMWTD)

i can draw anything. if you think about it, you can too! this is a thing i started some weeks back when i was having a dry spell--it's called TMWTD. These are the first two i did. i have a couple more but i have to scan them.

my friend and fellow artist, tony h., told me to draw this. it is a satanic octopus holding torpedoes with his spiky tentacles. i'm surprised the torpedoes didn't blow up!
